Worshiping Arts

In 1987 the Lord spoke to the leadership of the church to take the kingdom of the arts in the city. Cape Town is the arts capital of South Africa and until then the church had made very little inroads into the arts. It was decided to put on a musical drama called "The Bride" and take it to the two large theaters in the city, the Baxter and the Nico Malan. No church group had ever staged a production in either of these theaters before. The production ran in both auditoriums and was a resounding success, playing to full houses every night.

Good Hope Christian Centre has not looked back since. Our performing arts department continues to grow and touch lives. We see hundreds of people come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as a direct result of it.
